Following the successful launch of the Therm-L+ casement window, Comar are now pleased to be adding to the portfolio with the addition of the high performance tilt turn window. Combining exceptional thermal, weather and security performance with enhanced aesthetics and design flexibility, the Therm-L+ is ideal for us in all residential and commercial buildings and continues to demonstrate Comar`s innovative approach to the design of aluminium products.

  • Made from 70% recycled aluminium and 100% recyclable at end of life

Technical specification

  • Profiles are thermally broken with ‘rolled in’ low lambda polyamide profiles with the addition of a high thermal efficient injected foam
  • The 5Pi Therm-L+ tilt turn has been designed to meet the demands for windows with very low U-values. U-values as low as 1.0w/ m2k with double glazing & 0.67w/m2k with triple glazing
  • Embodied carbon as low as 4.0 kgCO2e/Kg of aluminium
  • Slim 98mm outer frame
  • Sightlines 104mm Casement window and 50mm fixed light
  • Minimum sash width: 625mm
  • Maximum tested sizes: height 1600mm and width 1400mm. Based on a
    Design Wind Pressure of 2400Pa. Larger sizes can be manufactured where lower wind loading is present. Please contact our Technical Department for advice

  • Additional performance characteristics to BS6375: Part 3

  • In addition, the window system conforms to recognised industry standards as adopted by Centre for Windows & Doors (CWCT) and trade associations such as the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB)
